Taste of Summer Tickets on sale now. Tasmania's summer food and drink festival, returning from Saturday 27 December 2025 – Saturday 3 January 2026.

Open daily from 12pm at Princes Wharf in Nipaluna/Hobart.

Behind every moment at the Taste is a whole lot of quiet work making it all come together... and that’s where our friends from Salters Hire Tasmania come in.

From the first bump-in to the final pack-down, their team helps shape the spaces, set the scene and keep everything running as it should.

It’s the kind of support that doesn’t ask for attention but deserves plenty of it.

We’re incredibly grateful to have them alongside us.

What a festival!

Eight days of summer flavours, live music, and waterfront vibes have made Taste of Summer 2025 truly unforgettable.

We saw record breaking numbers, just under 100,000 people through our gates across the whole festival, sold out stalls and satisfied, happy faces!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us - our staff, stallholders, partners, and festival-goers made this year’s festival what it was.

From summer flavours and live music to buzzing waterfront vibes, this festival wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing staff, stallholders, partners, and punters - thank you for being part of it.

To everyone who came down, explored the stalls, and celebrated with us: this is what Taste of Summer is all about. We hope you had an absolute blast, and we can’t wait to see you next year!

Congratulations to our People’s Choice Award favourite, Pizzirani’s!

This Bologna-born family legacy, passed from Nonna to her daughter and granddaughter, has been our visitors’ favourite at Taste. From molten pasta folded through wheels of cheese to handmade dishes by 84-year-old Nonna, every bite blends tradition, northern Italian heritage, and the best of Tasmanian produce.

Last night’s NYE celebration lit up Hobart’s waterfront with fireworks, live music, and buzzing stalls - what a way to ring in 2026!

Today we’re reminiscing about fresh Tasmanian seafood, long lunches, and sweet treats along the wharf - as well as a mammoth live set from Hindley Street Country Club!

Our New Year’s resolution? More local food, more live entertainment, and more time with friends. There’s still 3 more days of summer flavours and festival fun to enjoy, see you there!
