The UCI racing at Bathurst BMX track has been cancelled due to strong wind conditions.

Practice has been delayed until 3pm.

Assessment of the wind gusts will continue and track repairs are underway.

At 3pm the final decision will be made whether racing will continue.

UCI RACING UPDATE

UCI have made the following announcement:

A decision will be made at 1.50pm whether or not practice will go ahead.

If it doesn’t, they will hold off until 3pm where the final decision will be made as to whether racing will be cancelled.

Should the event be started at either 2pm or 3pm, close monitoring of the wind conditions will continue.
