The Bonney Theatre was constructed in 1938, and the building is a wonderful example of art deco architecture. Bonney Theatre was built adjoining “The Soldiers Memorial Hall” after it was decided that this venue was becoming too small to host community events. With recent upgrades the Bonney Theatre Complex is a beautiful building with wooden floors and high ceilings which provides a fantastic blan

k canvas for your special event. The Complex has interconnecting rooms which include a commercial kitchen, supper room, “The Soldiers Memorial Hall” and the Theatre. With the variety of options available for hire, it is no wonder that these facilities continue to be utilised by the community of Barmera and surrounds for various events including weddings, conferences, craft/fetes, festivals, exhibitions, proms, birthday celebrations and the like.
