So… if you are missing a yeti bottle 🍶or a hat 🤠, please PM and let me know!! (Not the ones in the pic 🤠)
If you still haven’t found your yeti bottle 🍶or travel cup 🥤 (non-yeti!) from last year, I have those too!
Hoping they find their homes 🏡 !

Congratulations to all of our Bangalow Buckle winners ( more details to come later this evening once I have unpacked and recovered!) and well done to every single competitor for their fantastic effort, participation and sportsmanship! A big thank you to our judges and a big shoutout to our sponsors and cattle donors (more individual mentions later this evening too!!)…. Great day today at Bang Buckle Challenge! Congratulations to our winner of the Minis, Mackenzie Carr and Moonie! Congratulations to Michael McMaster and Jack’s Full Noise for taking out the Brian Hampton Memorial Youth Encouragment Challenge and to our 2YO winners, Ryan Wallen AVF Ozzy Black Night.

7am start tomorrow for the cattlework, with the 4Y0 then the 3YO, Juniors, Youth, Superhorse then Encouragment…. Demonstration at 7am for everyone.
7:30am start for the Bangalow Bucket Obstacle Trial… course will be open until 11am so turn up and do your run when you are free. Cattlework will run in draw order. Happy riding!

Lucky Bang Buckle! It’s a beautiful morning here and we are getting ready to ride!
Draws are up on the table at the office ( but it’s okay to go out of order so long as it keeps flowing!).
The Lions Kiosk is open and busily making yummy bacon & egg rolls for brekky!
Feedback session muster is at 7:15 to get your name marked off for a 7:30am sharp start!
And remember your whip for this evening’s inaugural Northern Rivers Whip Cracking Championships at the Rotunds!

Yes 🙌 The Bangalow Buckle Challenge is still on! And surprise, it is currently a tad rainy, so pack your raincoat and gumboots ( or just go with the theory that once you get wet, you’re wet!)…. It is clearing so fingers crossed for a sunny, friendly and fun Challenge weekend… Happy Riding!

It’s always an adventure at the Bangalow Buckle! Here is a quick look at the schedule of events for competitors…. I know you are all waiting for the Info Email and Draws…. they are all done and ready to roll, but our computer decided it was a good time to crash! So, stay tuned as it’s almost sorted, but in the meantime, this little schedule will hopefully help you plan your time! If you have any questions, please PM, text or call ( remember I’d rather ride a horse or organise a challenge than scroll comments so please don’t expect a response there!). They are here! After a little postage delay or two, our beautiful buckles have arrived and will be on their way tomorrow to our wonderful winners!
Massive congratulations (and thank you for being so patient!) all of our 2025 Bangalow Buckle winners and a big shout-out and thank you to our awesome sponsors of each event and of the Buckle Challenge overall.
