Mark your calendar! 125 years. Two days. One show you don't want to miss.

This year, the Bangalow Show dates are Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November 2026, and this year we're celebrating 125 years of one of the Northern Rivers' most loved community traditions.
Two full days of ring events, pavilion entries, novelty events, local legends and everything that makes the Bangalow Show what it is. Stay tuned for next week's announcement of the feature entertainment!!!

Entry on the gate:
Adults $15 | Pensioners & High School $7 | Children 12 and under FREE

Want both days for less? A Show membership is $20 for adults and $10 for High School students, seniors and pensioners. Memberships must be paid by 8 November.

2026 BANGALOW BILLYCART DERBY

THE WEATHER GODS LOVE BANGALOW!!!

It’s the only way to explain the miracle that happened at last Sunday’s event. After 4 weeks of daily rain and much more forecast, Bangalow was blessed with a perfect day for the 33rd running of the much-loved Bangalow BillyCart Derby.

We had 250 individual competitors in over 120 billycarts and the village was flooded with thousands of locals and visitors. What a day it was! The racing was super competitive and all race categories were run and won. ‘Twas right up there with the best of the best.

The Grand Parade was something special too and the Lismore Pipe Band blowing the roof off the pub at lunchtime was spine tingling. The Pit Stop Fair was a roaring success too so congratulations to the Bangalow Public
School P&C - well done Renee and team.

The vibe in the village was great and it was a fabulous day for our community. Simply seeing the joy on the faces of the children makes it all worthwhile. Bangalow is a special town ❤️❤️❤️

Bangalow Lions Club would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to ALL of our generous sponsors, especially to Ally and the
Team at Summerland Bank - who also got into the swing of things by presenting the trophies - our many supporters and our hard-working volunteers who make all the difference.

Bumping in at 5am and bumping out at 5pm on Byron Street is a massive task and so a big shout-out must go to Bangalow Rebels Rugby Club - special mention to Rebel Ben - and all
the local volunteers for showing up with their big smiles and bigger muscles.

Great job everyone. Bangalow Lions are very
proud of you. We shall see you all again on Sunday 16th May 2027 for the next Bangalow BillyCart Derby. Keep the date.
