It is official. The Ballarat Show has a new home!

We are excited to confirm that the Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society Inc (BAPS) will purchase Federation University's Mt Rowan site.

BAPS are very excited by this purchase of freehold land and a site of 16.2 HA to continue to promote agriculture, a strong core of its activities.

Relocation to new premises will allow BAPS to expand activity and maintain the relevance and long history of the Society in Ballarat. Negotiations to finalise the sale are well advanced and both parties expect to conclude them in the coming weeks.

We regret to inform you that the Ballarat Agricultural and Pastoral Society has made the decision to cancel the 2018 Weekly Times Rural Lifestyle Expo being held 24 March 2018.

This decision was not taken lightly.

We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and interest that has been shown towards the event over the last 6 years. BAPS wanted to give everyone a great event, but not compromise the quality of the Event, and as such made the difficult decision to cancel the 2018 event rather than not deliver the best “Rural Lifestyle Expo” possible.

To all of our event partners and sponsors, we sincerely apologise for the unexpected occurrence of the event. The BAPS team is currently working towards a revamp and relaunch in 2019. Thank you from the depths of our team for your support and understanding and we will keep you informed for the 2019 event.
