Bairnsdale parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and a

s runners/walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5-years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least once out of every 10 parkruns. By doing this we can help everyone share the load and enjoy participating in the activity, as well as enjoying the rewards of volunteering.

We’re planning for the future of the 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐞 – and we want the community to share their snapshot of this much-loved place.

Whether it’s Saturday morning Parkrun, memories from years gone by, or simply time spent by the river, the Port has long been a place where people come together.

Now, we’re inviting the community to share their stories, memories and ideas to help shape the future of this important public space.
