❤️ OUR COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND IN ACTION ❤️

The Think Water Alice Springs Harts Range Races & Bush Sports Weekend is about community — and we are incredibly grateful for the support provided through our Community Benefit Fund.

The Community Benefit Fund, sponsored by the Northern Territory Government through the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade, has helped us engage local clubs, organisations, contractors and individuals who all played an important part in making our weekend happen.

This year, the fund supported:

👏 The ticket takers West Cricket Club Alice Springs — manning the gates throughout the days
🧹 Our cleaning crew - Alice Springs Women’s Cricket Association — keeping the camp and ablution facilities clean and welcoming
🛡️ Security crew Talice Security — helping keep everyone safe at the Saturday night dance
🚑 Health crew stjohnnt — providing vital medical support throughout the weekend
♻️ Rubbish collection crews Desert Sharks Hockey Club Incorporated — working Sunday and Monday mornings to clean up after the crowds
🎶 DJ Roland (Retroroly Entertainment) / Rock City Music Rock City Music — keeping the atmosphere going at the rodeo and Saturday night’s Neon Nights dance
🐎 Mick Batchelor — leading the horses into the racecourse as part of his fantastic Light Horse Display

These are often the jobs that happen quietly in the background, but they are absolutely essential to putting on a safe, successful and enjoyable event.

We are so grateful to everyone who put in the hours, worked behind the scenes and helped us welcome thousands of people to Harts Range.

The Community Benefit Fund makes a real difference — supporting local people, local organisations and our community event.

🏆 Our very own committee member, Jen Hamilton, has been nominated in the Bush Champion Awards. There are four categories – an Ag Champion, a Young Champion, a Community Champion and an Overall Champion which will be announced in Dubbo at the end of August.

The Harts Range Amateur Race Club wishes you all the luck Hammo Jah. We will be cheering you on 👏👏👏

🎉 WE DID IT! 1,000 FACEBOOK FOLLOWERS! 🎉

Well… you guys actually did it! 🙌❤️

We put out the call before this year’s Harts Range Races to help us rebuild our following after our original page was hacked four years ago — forcing us to start again from more than 3,000 followers.

And over the Harts Range weekend, something pretty special happened…

📸 Instagram hit 700 followers!

From starting again from scratch to reaching these numbers is a pretty amazing effort, and it’s all thanks to YOU — our competitors, families, locals, visitors, volunteers, sponsors and everyone who loves the Harts Range Races. ❤️

Every like, follow, share, comment and photo you’ve tagged us in helps keep this incredible outback tradition alive and growing.
