BYO tucker but we do offer a great afternoon tea.

Sashes for Grade Winners and a generous number of shells as prizes. Come and enjoy a great day shooting at our friendly club.

May 2026 Shoot Results
We had a great day at Ararat yesterday with 26 shooters participating. There was a little wind and a few spots of rain but that didn't stop everyone enjoying the shoot program.

Event 1: 10T P/S E/O Cash Divide: T Gull 30/30, B Dean 30/30, G Hargreaves 30/30.

Event 2: 30T P/S Graded Championship: AA: A Mellington 89/90, T Gull 87/90; A: B Dean 79/90, G Horrigan 84/96; B: L Gibson 85/90, K Malcolm 78/90; C: G Burgess 82/90, M Perry 79/90. OA: A Mellington 89/90.

Event 3: 30T D/B Graded Championship: AA: A Mellington 32/32, P Mellington 29/30, L Watts 29/30; A: G Hargreaves 31/32, G Horrigan 27/30; B: A Long 29/30, K Malcolm 28/30; C: R Hague 30/31, D Long 29/31. OA: A Mellington 32/32.

Event 4: High Guns: OA: A Mellington 148/150; LAD: T Perry 123/150; VET: G Hargreaves 138/150.

As mentioned after our March shoot we are not running a shoot on Saturday 4 April because of the Easter break. We look forward to seeing you all again for our next published shoot on Saturday 2 May.

Twenty-eight shooters turned up to our March shoot which was shot under fine but windy conditions. Things ran smoothly and based on feedback everyone had a great day. Results are as follows:

7 February 2026 Shoot Results
We had an amazing turnout for yesterday's shoot with seven squads shooting our ninety target program. Yes, we had our 'regulars' but also folks from Melbourne and other parts of the state. Conditions were pretty good (32oC) but we did get some wind in the middle of the afternoon pushing targets up.

RESULTS:
10T E/O P/S Cash Divide: fourteen out of thirty seven shooters managed to shoot 30/30 including: Ken Malcolm, Len Cook, Leon Gibson, Stewart Forbes, Bruce Dean, Travis Gull, Mick Walls, Viv Moore, Wayne Calaby, Nathan Barnes, Lachlan Brown, Mark Collins, Colin Dunn and Rod Hague. Each received $10.

40T P/S Graded Championship:
AA: 1st Stewart Forbes 135/138, 2nd Shayne Ringin 120/123
A: 1st & OA Viv Moore 136/138, 2nd Nathan Barnes 117/120
B: 1st Leon Gibson 115/120, 2nd Doug Harris 111/120

It was wonderful to see two juniors, Harley Pickford and Halle Barake shooting and both in shoot-offs. The next generation?
