What a fantastic Run Fest South West Rocks race weekend!

It was great to see Charlie Maher, The Indigenous Marathon Foundation take on and complete another marathon. Charlie has already conquered the World Marathon Majors and is now tackling the challenge of completing all four Run Fest marathons.

What makes Charlie's achievement even more impressive is that he wasn't just out there running 42.2km on race day. He volunteered throughout the entire weekend, helping with event setup, registrations, logistics and pack down. Wherever there was a job to be done, Charlie was there with a smile and a willingness to help.

Charlie is an outstanding leader, role model and ambassador for our running community. He embodies everything that Run Fest is about – commitment, community spirit, giving back and inspiring others to chase their goals.

Congratulations Charlie, and thank you for everything you do both on and off the course. We can't wait to see you at the next Run Fest marathon as you continue your journey to complete all four events!

100 marathons. One unforgettable finish line. 💙

Congratulations to Kirby, who completed her 100th marathon at Run Fest South West Rocks.

South West Rocks has been a huge part of Kirby's marathon journey over the years, with more than 10 of those 100 marathons completed on this stunning coastal course.

But this milestone wasn't just about the kilometres. It was about the people who helped her get there.

Waiting at the finish line was an incredible support crew, including her best friend, mum, Aunty, and many family members who travelled from near and far to celebrate this special achievement.

It's moments like these that remind us that every finish line tells a story. Behind every medal is a community of people cheering, supporting and believing every step of the way.

"Massive vibes all the way."

That's how Jarrad describes Run Fest South West Rocks, and we couldn't have said it better ourselves.

After crossing the marathon finish line, Jarrad shared what makes this event so special: incredible volunteers, breathtaking coastal views, and a running community that keeps growing stronger every year.

Together with his partner, he started Little Bay Run Club almost two years ago. Since then, it's grown into a thriving community, with plenty of local juniors now lining up on the start line alongside experienced runners.

Run Fest is about more than kilometres. It's about community, connection, and inspiring the next generation to get involved.
