THANKS FOR RUNNING GOTU 2025!
It was - we reckon and as promised - ICONIC.
Specifically, YOU were all iconic in your performances and achievements. Finished or otherwise, it was an epic day out on the Great Ocean Walk, and we applaud all you legends for yards - including the unplanned bonus ones - that you put in.
We hope you all had an experience to remember for all the right reasons and hope to welcome you back in 2026!
**SAVE THE DATE**
All being well we will be running there event on the same weekend in 2026, so save the date:
24th October 2026
Entries will open with a significant entry price saving in coming weeks. We will again have a limited field and we do expect given the hoopla of this year, to sell out, so get in early (and save).
**RESULTS**
Some great racing up front with only an hour separating the 100km podium women and first place Ady Sliwka taking an impressive 6th place overall.
In the men's 100km it was even tighter racing with just over 12 minutes separating first second and third place getter!
In the 45km (okay 47km) Singletrack Team runner Sophie Broome took a course record (even with the extended distance) and a fourth overall to take out top tier in the women's with only 10 mins or so separating her run from second place Gillian Turnbull.
The 45km men's was equally tight racing with only 17 minutes gap from 1st to 3rd.

Special thanks to Winchlesea CFA - manning the 89km aid station and the finish BBQ! What absolute legends! And to Melton City Runners as always manning another stand for Tour de Trails. You guys rock. As do all those who came and marshalled, aided, cheered, passed out medals and general showed why the trail running community is the best!
As with all events they can’t happen without a lot of support. Thanks to Endurance Medical Services for keeping everyone safe – this team always goes beyond.
Thanks to INOV8 Australia for jumping on board and backing to the hilt GOTU! Check out their freshly landed range ASAP.

And finally, thanks and RD hugs to the TdT GOTU team pulling the most weight: Sarah and Pete, Jacqui, Michelle and Tracey. How much you do behind the scenes (and how much you keep all the RDs focused on what’s important) cannot be overstated.
From some really happy RDs we can’t wait to come back in 2026 and do it all again.
