A heartfelt thank you to Southern Downs Regional Council CEO Brophy, Madam Mayor Melissa and Councillors Pidgeon, Harslett and Wantling for joining us to celebrate 30 years of the Allora Bush Christmas. Your presence meant so much to our little town on such a milestone year.

We also want to give a special shout out to the incredible SDRC Parks Team. They worked quietly and tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure our streets were spotless and ready to shine. Their pride in our community shows in every detail, and we are so grateful for their support.

Bush Christmas is truly a whole-community celebration, and having SDRC standing with us makes it even more special.

We have both cash and EFTPOS available, making it easy for everyone to grab their bands and get back to the magic.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Clare Cowley back to the Allora Bush Christmas stage tomorrow, joined by her wonderful family. Clare’s music has a way of filling Herbert Street with that unmistakable country warmth that only a local can bring.

The Cowley family has been intertwined with the history of Bush Christmas for many years, contributing their talent, heart, and community spirit to this event in so many ways. Having them return for our 30-year celebration feels incredibly special, like bringing a much-loved piece of our story full circle.

Join us at the main stage tomorrow to soak up Clare’s beautiful sound, celebrate a family who has helped shape the spirit of this event, and share in the magic that only live music at Bush Christmas can bring.

Get your hands on the best raffle in town before the big night arrives! Tickets are up for grabs at Allora Home Hardware in the lead up to Bush Christmas, then during the event you can snag yours from the ACC ride ticket marquee. You will also spot our wonderful Allora Show Society Show Girls and Rural Ambassadors wandering through the crowd, volunteering their time to support another local community group, and selling tickets with smiles that could outshine the Christmas lights.

With prizes this good and money going straight back into our little town, it is the perfect feel good buy of the season. Grab a ticket, cross your fingers, and help make some community magic happen! 🎄🎅🏾

Get around Wattles Junior Rugby League at the Bush Christmas as they work towards their very own fundraising efforts to kick off their 2026 season!

Forget the tackling just for now - We need help with the tongs! 😅

Our club will now be running the BBQ at the Allora Bush Christmas this Saturday, December 6th, and we are looking for a few good people to master the grill and serve up smiles!

Come on down, soak up the festive cheer, and help raise some funds for the Mighty Warriors!

We are absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of our Herbert Street businesses. They have come together in true Allora spirit either to partner for the event or to create a wheelbarrow packed to the brim with incredible goodies, all donated to help make this year’s Bush Christmas extra special.

Every ticket supports our little town’s biggest night of the year, and the prizes are amazing.

First Prize: A wheelbarrow overflowing with locally donated treats and treasures
Second Prize: A delicious Allora Butchery Christmas Ham

The Allora Historical Society is joining us at Bush Christmas this Saturday, helping keep the stories of our little town alive one raffle ticket at a time.

These wonderful volunteers work all year preserving treasures, photos, records and memories that make Allora the special place we all love. Their work is entirely community driven, and every ticket sold goes straight back into protecting our shared history for future generations.

If you spot their stall, please stop by, have a chat and grab a ticket. You might just win a great prize, but more importantly, you’ll be supporting the custodians of Allora’s past, ensuring our children and grandchildren can continue to learn from the people and moments that shaped our town.

Let’s wrap our arms around the Historical Society the same way they wrap their hearts around Allora’s heritage.
