Ooraminna was created by the Hayes family in 1995 to meet the demand of tourists wanting a true outback experience. A film set depicting a 1920’s outback township is set on the property and creates the perfect scene for large Dinner groups and evenings under the stars that are never forgotten. There are several unique Dinner sites on the property including a large shed built as a wet weather alternative, a homestead with verandah, patio and terrace area plus other purpose built buildings. Ooraminna also operates Luxury accommodation cabins, offering guests a longer stay and chance to experience the outback. A Campground with shower and toilet blocks is available to cater for those in 5th wheelers, camper trailers, tents or swags. Groups can be catered for who wish to ‘swag’ overnight. Located just half an hour South of Alice Springs and even less from the Alice Springs airport, Ooraminna is easily accessible which adds to its attraction.
