The Great Barrier Reef Festival simply wouldn’t happen without the people who give up their time to help make it all happen.

From setting up and packing down to selling merch and helping visitors, assisting with events and keeping things moving across the weekend — our volunteers were there when we needed them.

The 2026 Club Whitsunday Street Parade was one BIG celebration of 25 years of the Great Barrier Reef Festival!

The colour, creativity, costumes, floats and community spirit on show were INCREDIBLE. From start to finish, the streets of Airlie Beach were filled with people who went all out to celebrate our reef and our community. 💙

We want to say a HUGE congratulations to everyone who took part — you all helped make the parade so special. And a very special congratulations to our winners! 🏆
