MtLofty Halloween Hike -Awareness & Fun-dRaiser Parkinson's SA.
Fancy dress as ghost, ghoul, fairy, zombie or Cosplay as your favourite character.
This event is family friendly, alcohol & drug free for supporting Parkinson's SA and raising awareness of Parkinson's Disease.
Parkinson’s disease is a progressive, degenerative neurological condition that affects a person’s control of their body movements. In Australia, it affects 100,000 people with 38 people being diagnosed every day.
On the night support us by making a donation, attending in fancy dress or both.
Please note the track has many steps, bumps and lumps, bridges and may be unsealed in places, it is not pram or wheelchair friendly.
Wear practical and comfortable walking or running shoes or boots.
We will lead you from Waterfall Gully (at the bottom of the Utopia restaurant) up the path to the Mt Lofty Summit. We will not be following the steep path and instead we will take you on a SECRET gentler path “666m Horror Alley” where bones and a dismembered body have been found.
Once at the summit it will be dusk and we will then return to Waterfall Gully by torch light.
If you don't like scary things like creepy paths in the woods this is not for you as participants may make it even Creepier!!!
A few Prizes and giveaways are being organised ... so as I manage to organise some - updates will be published on the page.... If you know of any businesses which would like to donate please tell them to message me. The more giveaways the better.
If there is a fire danger or other reason the path is closed off on the day the event will be cancelled, updates will be via Facebook event page only. .......................................................................................................................................................
Parkinson’s SA is a not-for-profit registered charity that has provided support and information to people living with Parkinson’s, other movement disorders, their carer’s and family, the community and allied health professionals for over 30 years.
Parkinson’s SA is the ONLY organisation in South Australia focused solely on people living with Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s SA supports people at diagnosis, in the early stages and throughout the progression of the condition.
Without generous members of the community such as yourself donating money and raising awareness, Parkinson’s SA would be unable to carry on the broad range of vital support and educational services for the 8,000+ people currently living with Parkinson’s across the state.
Thank-you for your support on behalf of myself and Parkinson’s SA.
Yours Thankfully
