We are holding our first real fundraiser for and hope you can join us on Sunday 1 November as we celebrate World Vegan Day with a powerful South Australian screening of Porkaganda.
Produced by Animal Liberation and Hidden Eyes Productions, Porkaganda takes viewers inside the industrial food system, exposing the realities of pig farming and its impact on animals, the environment, and people.
This special event is proudly presented by Vegan Festival Adelaide and offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and be part of the conversation about creating a more compassionate and sustainable future.

The PORKAGANDA documentary sits under Animal Liberation's Pigs Without Borders campaign, exploring the history of industrial pig farming expanding across Australia, and the exploitation of millions of Australian pigs as commodified food 'products'.
The campaign and documentary will encourage us to consider the broad issues holistically including the 'enablers', those who drive and prop up this unsustainable food system built on mass animal exploitation – governments’ and key decision makers, animal agribusinesses, animal welfare agencies, approved farming schemes and the retailers. These enablers each in their own way deny the consumer's right to know with full transparency to allow meaningful individual informed choice.
