From humble beginnings in 1933 the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant is now the largest & best pageant of its kind in the world... a magical free community event - fantasy & fairy floats, colourful characters, over 200 clowns, bands, dancers & more!

It's Bruto of course! 🩷

He’s nothing to be afraid of though as one of the Pageant’s most popular floats since 2002. Two lucky children get a big monster cuddle every year as he makes his way along the Pageant route.

🎠 WIN A SPOT ON THE NIMBLE FLOAT 🎠

We’re looking for FIVE children aged 6–12 to ride on the iconic Nimble float in this year's National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant 🤩 All they’ll need to do is tell us in 25 words or less why they would like to be on the Nimble float.

Please note, a parent or legal guardian must accompany their child on Pageant Day, having their own fun walking alongside the float dressed as a clown 🤡

Competition opens Tuesday 1 September at 5.00pm ACST and closes Tuesday 8 September at 5.00pm ACST.

The London Bus has been out and about for a very special cause 🚌❤️

We were proud to see this Pageant favourite hit the road for FIVEAA’s Un**es Run, helping raise vital funds for Catherine House and the Hutt St Centre and the important work they do supporting people experiencing homelessness in South Australia.

A little Pageant magic, going a long way for our community. ✨

Mini float judging is underway! 📝🎄

Brian Gilbertson, Creative Director of the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant, is making a list and checking it twice with the help of a team of Christmas elves including our friend Tom Rehn from Say hello to the best of South Australia!

With just under 600 incredible Mini Float Competition entries, the creativity and Christmas spirit on display made for some very tough decisions.

After much deliberation, our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners have been chosen.

Who will take the top spot and see their vision come to life in this year’s Christmas Pageant? You’ll have to wait just a little longer — all will be revealed soon. ✨

Calling all South Australian primary school students! Dream big, get creative and show us your take on 'The Simple Pleasures of a South Australian Christmas'. 🎄
