Looking to find your perfect match in the arts? 🍯🐝

Honey Pot, Adelaide Fringe’s international arts marketplace, is back for 2026 (20 February to 22 March)!

If you’re a programmer, presenter, agent, booker, venue, or producer seeking exciting new works and artists, be part of the action and register as an industry delegate.

Why Honey Pot? It’s essentially a matchmaking service that connects artists with the right programmers. And the best part? It’s free to register for both artists and delegates!

Run by Massive Events Corp, the Adelaide Motorsport Festival is a museum in motion, displaying historic, rare and significant racing vehicles in the Adelaide Park Lands and beyond, and the Shannons Adelaide Rally brings the community together for fun, free community events in the CBD, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula.

A friendly reminder that in partnership with TiCSA, we’re proud to deliver three Event Management Bootcamps across next week, designed to build capability and confidence within the events sector.

These practical, skills-based sessions are an excellent opportunity to refine your business plan, learn from experienced event professionals, and connect with others in your community.

Event Bootcamp Dates & Locations:
Barossa | Tuesday 26 August, 9:00am – 3:30pm
Murray Bridge | Wednesday 27 August, 9:00am – 3:30pm
McLaren Vale | Thursday 28 August, 9:00am – 3:30pm

Cost:
$60 for Festival City Adelaide Members
$90 for Non-Members
(All prices GST inclusive)

Ticket includes: Morning tea, lunch, and tea/coffee.

Registrations for these workshops are still welcome and content of the bootcamps will provide great benefit to both established and emerging professionals across all departments of festivals and events.

Festival City Adelaide (FCA), the peak body for festivals and events in South Australia, has appointed industry veteran Glyn Roberts as its next Chief Executive Officer.

Roberts replaces Justyna Jochym, who has moved to take up the position of CEO at the History Trust of South Australia, and will start at the beginning of October.

Roberts said one of his first tasks was to ensure the FCA membership is properly represented, “I’ll advocate for their collective needs to government and industry to secure the most fertile environment in which these incredible festivals can thrive and give back to South Australia many times over," he said.

Festival City Adelaide board chair Govert Mellink said they had conducted an extensive search for the right person to lead FCA’s next phase of growth.

“We are confident we have found the right person in Glyn to grab the opportunities we have built at FCA and develop them into world-leading programs,” Mellink said.
