The Courtyard of Curiosities A curated kid on the Adelaide Fringe venue-hub block. Returning in 2026 for our fourth year — with 63 shows! We are at 82 Kintore Avenue, Adelaide SA 5000.

Find us at the Migration Museum on Kintore Avenue, the State Library of South Australia on North Terrace, and Coco’s Art Tours at AGSA. Migration Museum is a venue on Kintore Avenue with two theatre spaces to come see shows during the Adelaide Fringe 2023 - Yurt and Chapel. There is a nice courtyard which will include a food and beverage offering and seating outside for before and after shows. The

Yurt is a hand-built traditional wood and canvas circular structure with a great feel and lovely atmosphere. It is a sixty seat venue that can be set 'in the round' or in 'theatre-style row seating'. The Chapel is a bluestone building - it is a sixty seat venue with theatre-style row seating. This is the first time The Yurt and The Chapel have been Adelaide Fringe venues at the Migration Museum. We are very excited about being a new little hub in the city’s East End for intimate theatre, clowning, comedy, and music. The Chapel & Yurt is brought to you by Nick Phillips & Britt Plummer

Coco the Time-Time Travelling Tart won overall Best Interactive Award at awards for Coco’s Art History Comedy Highlights Tour at the Art Gallery of South Australia! 🎨

This was Coco’s first time to Adelaide, and after crafting tours for prestigious galleries such as Tate Modern, British Museum and National Portrait Gallery it was pretty thrilling to team up with .adelaide for Coco to work their magic in our very own state gallery.

Coco has a special ability to share great knowledge and respect for artworks whilst being cheeky and having fun at the same time. It was a hoot, and certainly interactive! Thanks to all the audiences that came and actively participated and for AGSA for having us.

Congratulations Coco! 👏 You can catch Coco at NGV in Melbourne now.

This is the second year Kirsty has performed with us at The Courtyard of Curiosities and she smashed her season spooking Adelaide audiences with her real life ghost story - thrilling storytelling mastering giving goosebumps and laughs at the same time!

Charlie Mulliner won the overall Best Comedy Award at the awards for her show Love Hunt! Presented by ✨

Charlie was on stage performing her show when the award was announced. So the wonderful Craig Egan of Adelaide Comedy/Rhino Room presented the show to her during the curtain call. It was a pretty special moment!

Love Hunt explores modern romance through brilliant character comedy and clowning. This was Charlie’s first time touring to Australia and Adelaide Fringe and we can’t wait to have her back and see what she does next.

KIN by Erin Fowler and collaborators Tess Fowler, Jess Briggs and Will Spartalis won The Sustainability Award presented by at this year’s awards! 🍃

This was the work-in-progress premiere of the work at the Courtyard of Curiosities. KIN is an intimate reflection on ancestry, migration and belonging told through stunning harmonies, shared song and movement.

This is a hilarious, bold, joyous work that has played at the Courtyard of Curiosities the past two years. Sophie also won a Weekly Award for ‘Best Comedy’ and add extra shows which all sold out.

Big Congratulations to Coco for winning Best of Interactive Weekly Award for ‘Coco’s Art History Comedy Art Tours of Art Gallery of South Australia’!

All of Coco’s Tours of are now sold out! If you don’t have a ticket you’ll have to catch her next time - or in Melbourne or Sydney!
