What better way to bring Palimpseste, the 5th edition of Suena Festival, to an end than with Klangforum Wien! Klangforum Wien ✨
Last week, they captivated us with a rich and diverse repertoire, creating an unforgettable evening that left the audience inspired, moved, and amazed by their artistry and energy. It was a true honour to have them join us for the final concert of this edition 🎶

We are still thrilled by the unforgettable solo performance we witnessed at the fifth edition of the Suena Festival, “Palimpseste”🤩. Matteo Cesari transformed Reaktor with his sound, leaving us completely captivated by a performance that was at once masterful, virtuosic and deeply delicate.
It was a real honour to welcome him to Vienna and share this very special moment at our festival 🎶

There’s nothing more inspiring than seeing the younger generation take the stage! The students of the Musikschule der Stadt Wien gave a truly wonderful concert under the direction of , filling the evening with energy, talent, and passion for music. 🎶
To close the night, the incredible delivered a bold and captivating performance unlike anything we had heard before. An unconventional concert, a magical atmosphere, and a musical experience that left us completely speechless. ✨

For the closing concert of the 5th edition of Suena Festival, we are delighted to have Klangforum Wien. Klangforum Wien Marking its debut at the festival, the musicians unveil a richly textured landscape of contemporary sound art, where layers of music unfold like concealed architectures within sound itself.

In the concert “Verborgene Räume”, where music invites audiences into a captivating exploration of hidden sonic dimensions, we will hear works by P. Berardinelli, A. Gran i Romero, H. Parra, J. Quislant and A. Posadas. From intimate solo and duo pieces to intricate ensemble interactions, the works traverse a spectrum of expressive forms, revealing subtle dialogues between instruments and voices. Familiar and new repertoire intertwine, creating a dynamic listening experience that blurs boundaries between past and present.

This final evening transforms listening into discovery—an immersive journey through resonant spaces where sound becomes memory, presence, and possibility all at once

An evening of singular artistry at Suena Festival 2026 ✨

In the festival’s only solo concert, Italian flutist Matteo Cesari presents a refined exploration of musical layering—where past and present coexist through evolving textures and subtle sonic transformations.

This program offers a contemplative listening experience, revealing how contemporary music preserves, reshapes, and extends memory beyond what is immediately heard. Works by F. Lara, L. Romero, A. Posadas, E. Nunes and H. Parra.

Last week marked the conclusion of Qvadrivium, the fourth edition of the Suena Festival.
