Welcome to Itu 🌷

We recently visited the studio of the Brazilian muralist Eduardo Kobra at FAMA Museum in the city of Itu — and what an experience!

It felt like embracing the world in just a few seconds and becoming part of the unique, colorful universe he creates.

Kobra is constantly traveling, turning the facades of cities like New York, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, Dubai, and Johannesburg into open-air galleries.

His international journeys blend historical research with dialogue with local communities, resulting in vibrant portraits that celebrate memory, diversity, and human rights.

Between airports and scaffolding, Kobra practices a kind of “diplomacy through color”: wherever he goes, he paints symbolic bridges between cultures — leaving behind murals that become urban landmarks and lasting invitations to connection.

Estivemos recentemente no Atelier do muralista brasileiro Eduardo Kobra no Museu Fama, na cidade de Itu e que experiência!

Foi como poder abraçar o mundo em poucos segundos e se sentir parte desse universo colorido tão único criado por ele.

Em viagens constantes, Kobra transforma fachadas de cidades como Nova York, Paris, Roma, Tóquio, Dubai e Joanesburgo em galerias a céu aberto.

Seus roteiros internacionais unem pesquisa histórica e diálogo com comunidades locais, resultando em retratos vibrantes que celebram memória, diversidade e direitos humanos.

Entre aeroportos e andaimes, Kobra pratica uma “diplomacia pela cor”: onde chega, pinta pontes simbólicas entre culturas — deixando murais que se tornam marcos urbanos e convites permanentes ao encontro 🩷
