DoYeon Kim (doyeonkim)

Featured in the NYTimes for “Blazing a trail for traditional Korean Zither in Jazz” DoYeon Kim is an internationally acclaimed artist known for her expansive and pioneering performances and compositions and for introducing the gayageum, an ancient Korean zither, into contemporary music. Trained extensively in jazz and improvisation as well as in the canon of classical Korean music including Sanjo, Jeongak, and modern Gygax, DoYeon channels history, literature, and an ever-evolving sense of the human spirit in a musical language entirely her own through her original compositions, powerful solo performances, and collaborations with artists around the world.

Lukas Lauermann (LUKAS LAUERMANN)
For nearly 20 years, Lukas Lauermann has collaborated with some of the most prominent artists in Austria’s music scene and composed music for theatre and film. His playing can be heard on albums by Soap&Skin and Nino aus Wien, live alongside Alicia Edelweiss, in the multiple Nestroy Award-winning theatre production humanistaa!, and, most recently, in his soundtrack for Pfau – Bin ich echt?, which was nominated for an Austrian Film Award.

In his solo project, Lukas Lauermann combines the cello with electronics, samplers, tapes, and effect pedals. Together, these elements create a “sonic cosmos unfolding between moments of profound inner calm and intense sonic experimentation” (O1). At times sparse and intimate, at others epic and expansive, his music sounds more orchestral than one might expect from a single instrument. Elements of classical music, minimal music, experimental music, and pop merge into richly layered compositions.

Omid Darvish (Omid Darvish °.• امید درویش)

Omid Darvish, originally from Tehran and now based in Vienna, is a distinguished singer, composer, and tanbur player. He is the driving force behind the music projects Huuum and Kurdophone, both of which focus on reinterpreting Iranian folk music, including Kurdish, Balochi, Luri, and other traditional styles, in a contemporary context. His work seamlessly blends these traditions with elements of jazz, electronic, and metal music, establishing him as a prominent figure in Austria’s music scene.

With a diverse vocal repertoire ranging from traditional techniques to jazz and metal influences, Omid Darvish is known for his deep, resonant voice and impressive vocal range. His compositions reflect a deep engagement with musical heritage while pushing the boundaries of genre and style.

Through his innovative approach, Omid Darvish bridges cultural traditions and modern sounds, offering a unique perspective on the evolution of Iranian folk music in the global music landscape.

Rojin Sharafi (Rojin Sharafi)

Rojin Sharafi is a Tehran-born, Vienna-based sound artist, composer, and performer working across electroacoustic music, noise, and experimental electronics. Her visceral sonic language blends analog, acoustic, and digital tools, exploring tension, rupture, and transformation.

Hermeneia (Por Un Ses Decente)

Hermeneia is a Warsaw-based DJ and vocalist, and the founder of Radio Lola and FURDA event series – platforms devoted to underground sound system culture. Her sets weave together old-school dancehall, dub, contemporary halftime heavy-hitters, and hazy illbient textures, crafting a hybrid that goes hard but doesn’t take itself too seriously.

With regular shows on LYL and Noods Radio, Hermeneia has made appearances on Boiler Room, NTS, Edwin and Kiosk Radio, and released a mixtape on Acetone, steadily building her presence across the European scene.

MATERIAL - the new album by other:M:other is seven tracks, conceived as one continuous composition.

Starting from minimal musical material, Judith Schwarz, Arthur Fussy () & Jul Dillier (Jul Dillier) unfold intricate sonic trajectories between composition and improvisation, acoustic and electronic, fragile textures and rhythmic intensity.

Their second album follows the live energy of MetaMorph into the studio - shaping a dense, evolving sound world where experimental music meets beat-driven club culture.

But Material is also a question: What do we make? What do we consume? What remains?

Arthur Fussy: modular synthesizer
Jul Dillier: prepared piano
Judith Schwarz: extended drumset

Marina Herlop (Marina Herlop)

Classically trained pianist, composer, producer and vocalist Marina Herlop has established herself as one of the most distinctive and innovative voices in contemporary music. Following the release of Pripyat (2022) and Nekkuja (2023), two albums that positioned her among the most acclaimed artists in the international experimental scene, the Barcelona-based artist spent three years touring some of the world’s most renowned festivals and stages.

She now returns with Dja Dja (release date 09.10.2026), her boldest work to date. Conceived as a single interconnected piece, the album uses the Hero’s Journey as a structural framework for an intense musical exploration of transformation, inner struggle and self-affirmation, the crossing point of the X, where aggression and delicacy intersect. Throughout its compositions, Marina Herlop expands her sonic universe with new textures, brass arrangements and an intricate musical architecture, while preserving the balance between radical experimentation and emotional accessibility that has become a hallmark of her work.

The new tour marks the live premiere of this body of work through a completely reimagined performance, developed over more than two years of research, composition and production. It opens a new chapter in the career of an artist who continues to challenge the boundaries of contemporary music and cement her place as one of the most compelling creators of her generation.

Juli Deák (Juli Deák)

The Polish-Hungarian flutist and saxophonist Juli Deák bridges classical, contemporary, and jazz music through tender melodic lines, circular breathing, and percussive effects.

The Breathing Project, invites the audience into an intimate and organic sound world, where tender melodies intertwine with ever-lasting circular breathing and percussive effects. By highlighting the hidden sounds of the flute — breath noise, key clicks, and subtle tonal shifts — she creates a deeply immersive atmosphere. During her performances, she challenges both her physical limits and the traditional boundaries of the flute, presenting the circular breathing technique in a way that is raw and direct.

NAGEEM (.trio)

A trio that turns the moment into material – sound as architecture, taking shape in real time. Under the program title „Ephemere Music – Improvising Architecture,“ David Six (David Six), Mina Naomi (Mina Naomi), and Max Plattner (Max Plattner) devote themselves to the art of listening: every decision arises from collective intuition, every gesture carries the potential to transform the space.

NAGEEM’s music moves between free improvisation, minimal music, and contemporary jazz. Acoustic sounds meet subtle electronics, while altered resonances from double bass and drums open up new textures, colors, and atmospheres of light. What emerges is not a finished work, but an event – fleeting, alive, unrepeatable.

David Six - keys
Mina Naomi – bass
Max Plattner – drums
