I have been to numerous festivals in different countries and I always noticed something very specific there ... People with different hats of all kinds, mostly in the so-called Steampunk Style. And I knew from the start: I really want to own such a beautiful piece. When I discovered a shop at a festival selling these hats, I was shocked for a brief moment - each hat cost upwards of € 40. Of course I understood that there was manual work and a lot of attention to detail. But you have to know that I am a person who likes to lose or forget something at parties & festivals. And that was a lot of money for that. So I decided to make a hat for myself and wear it at events. And then what I never imagined happened: people came up to me, complimented my hat and asked where I got it from. When I say "I made it myself.", I always hear the same answer: "Can you please make me one too?"

And that's how mAd HaTs was created. Each hat is unique and designed with love by me. All of my “babies” have been given a name. I am happy to accept wishes and ideas and try to implement them as best as possible. In addition, one thing is close to my heart from the start - each hat only costs € 25,- The materials & working time is covered with it & I also get a small pocket money. So that all the people who like to lose & forget like me do not suffer an excessive financial loss. We have to stick together after all! :-)
