Better late than never :D

The melodies are still echoing through our ears and our hearts are charged with the energy of this MAGICAL Strafiato 3.0!

Thank you to all the bandas for your commitment, your important input, your unique sounds, and for making the journey to be there. We are convinced that the love and solidarity we feel during such long festival days flows far beyond the music into all our lives, our togetherness, and our work for resistance — fueling it further. Right now, the world often feels like a huge and frightening pile of chaos. We are deeply grateful to live in a country where we can express our opinions freely. The current attacks on democracy and freedom of expression, the rise of fascism, genocides and wars, as well as the escalating cruelty taking place at the borders of the EU concern us enormously and remind us: now more than ever is not the time to despair! Instead, we are called upon to play, act, stand up, and fight even louder and more decisively for humanity and for the foundations of life on our planet, without allowing ourselves to be intimidated. You and your work are an inspiration to us!

A huge thank you also goes out to all the helping, often invisible hands who spent countless hours cooking, washing dishes, cleaning, communicating, carrying, organizing, and taking care of things tirelessly. You are heroes!

And another thank you to all the SNOsies who worked throughout the whole year — and especially this weekend — to make this madness possible. Grassroots democracy can be a real challenge in large-scale projects like festival organization. Our festival debriefing showed that we have learned a lot over the years and that self-care for every single person must come first in order to organize a festival sustainably. We are happy that we managed it and look back with pride, gratitude, and light hearts.

We are also grateful for your feedback so we can continue learning!

In this spirit: take good care of yourselves, your loved ones, your bandas, and the planet. Together we are loud! And how!

Wie wir zu einem Festival kommen, macht einen Unterschied.
Wir versuchen, Strafiato so ressourcenschonend wie möglich zu organisieren – dazu gehört auch die Anreise.
Mit Öffis, Fahrrad oder zu Fuß zu kommen macht einen Unterschied.

How we get to a festival matters.
We try to keep Strafiato as low-impact as possible – and that includes how we move through the city.
Coming by public transport, bike or on foot makes a difference.

Accessibility is part of how we organize this festival.
We know that not everything is accessible. That’s why we try to name barriers as clearly as possible.
Different locations mean different situations: crowds, noise, uneven ground or limited access.
If you have specific needs, reach out to us. We’ll do our best to support you.

Barrierefreiheit ist Teil davon, wie wir dieses Festival organisieren.
Wir wissen, dass nicht alles barrierefrei ist. Deshalb versuchen wir, Barrieren so klar wie möglich zu benennen.
Unterschiedliche Orte bedeuten unterschiedliche Situationen: viele Menschen, Lautstärke, unebene Wege oder eingeschränkter Zugang.

Strafiato is about music, but also about how we treat each other.
We want to create a space where everyone can feel safe. That only works if we look out for one another.
Respect people’s boundaries. Only yes means yes. Take responsibility for your actions.
If something doesn’t feel right, speak up or ask for help. Don’t look away.
We create this space together.

Strafiato ist Musik – aber auch die Frage, wie wir miteinander umgehen.
Wir wollen einen Raum schaffen, in dem sich alle sicher fühlen können. Das funktioniert nur, wenn wir aufeinander achten.
Respektiere Grenzen. Nur Ja heißt Ja. Übernimm Verantwortung für dein Verhalten.
Wenn etwas nicht passt, sprich es an oder hol dir Hilfe. Schau nicht weg.
Wir schaffen diesen Raum gemeinsam.

Strafiato works with rescued food.
During the festival we cook for around 250 people. A large part of the food comes through – collected, shared and processed on site.
At Bartlmä there will be a foodsharing buffet during the concert evenings, where rescued food is available for free.
We also set up temporary FairTeiler and welcome food donations.
Thanks to for supporting us with kitchen infrastructure and reusable tableware.

Strafiato arbeitet mit geretteten Lebensmitteln.
Während des Festivals versorgen wir rund 250 Personen. Ein großer Teil der Lebensmittel kommt über – gesammelt, geteilt und vor Ort weiterverarbeitet.
In Bartlmä gibt es während der Konzertabende ein Foodsharing Buffet, bei dem gerettete Lebensmittel kostenlos angeboten werden.
Außerdem richten wir temporäre FairTeiler ein und freuen uns über Lebensmittelspenden.
Danke an für die Unterstützung mit Küche und Mehrweggeschirr.

At this year’s Strafiato Festival, we’re running a second hand store at Bartlmä.
Since January we’ve been collecting clothes and reworking them through screen printing instead of producing new merch.
Part of the clothing comes from , prints are made with .
There will also be an upcycling workstation at – bring your own clothes, adapt pieces on site or create something new.

Beim diesjährigen Strafiato Festival gibt es einen Second Hand Store in Bartlmä.
Seit Januar sammeln wir Kleidung und verarbeiten sie im Siebdruck weiter, anstatt neuen Merch zu produzieren.
Ein Teil kommt von , die Prints entstehen mit .
Außerdem gibt es eine Upcycling Workstation im – bringt eigene Kleidung mit, verändert Stücke vor Ort oder gestaltet etwas Neues.

This festival runs on music, people – and a lot of collective support behind the scenes. 💛

STRAFIATO 2026 PRESENTS 🥳🎺🥳:
Titubanda wurde am 1. Mai 1998 als Experiment – oder besser gesagt als Herausforderung – gegründet, mit dem Ziel, Musik über Grenzen hinweg zu schaffen, frei von Leistungslogik, Profitdenken und Hierarchien.
Als offene Band versteht sie sich als Raum für gemeinsames Musizieren und künstlerisches Ausprobieren. Gleichzeitig trägt sie ihre Werte in die Öffentlichkeit und ist bei Veranstaltungen, Initiativen und im lokalen Umfeld präsent.
Mit einem vielfältigen, internationalen Repertoire bewegt sich Titubanda zwischen unterschiedlichen musikalischen Traditionen und Genres und verbindet Einflüsse aus aller Welt.
Das ultimative Ziel der Band, mittlerweile legendär, aber nicht unerreichbar, bleibt die Fähigkeit, einen sauber gestimmten A-Moll-Akkord zu spielen.

Titubanda was founded on May 1st, 1998 as an experiment – or rather a challenge – with the aim of creating music across borders, free from performance logic, profit, and hierarchies.
As an open band, it serves as a space for collective music-making and artistic exploration, while also bringing its values into public life through events, initiatives, and local engagement.
With a diverse and international repertoire, Titubanda moves between different musical traditions and genres, connecting influences from around the world.
The band’s ultimate goal, now legendary but not unattainable, remains the ability to play a perfectly tuned A minor chord.
