Këtë fundjavë, “Neighbours / from Motherland” hap edicionin e 5-të të International Dance Festival Tirana! Më 3 dhe 4 tetor, ju mirëpresim në Teatrin Kombëtar të Operës dhe Baletit për premierën me koreografi të Brigel Gjokës dhe Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit.

Ky bashkëprodhim i parë i këtij lloji sjell së bashku 10 balerinë nga Shqipëria dhe Kosova. Pas premierës në Tiranë, shfaqja do të udhëtojë drejt Prishtinës.

Pak nga bota e “Neighbours / from Motherland” pak para se të ngjitet në skenë.

This weekend, Neighbours / from Motherland opens the 5th edition of the International Dance Festival Tirana. Join us on 3 & 4 October at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet for the premiere of a new work by Brigel Gjoka and Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit.

Bringing together dancers from Albania and Kosovo, this new coproduction marks a first for the two countries’ ballet institutions. After its premiere in Tirana, the production will travel to Prishtina.

Here’s a glimpse into the work before the curtain rises. We can’t wait for you to see it!

Brenda studios së provave me Rigon Krasniqin, pjesë e trupës së Baletit Kombëtar të Kosovës, që prej 5 javësh po punon për shfaqjen “Neighbours / FROM MOTHERLAND” me Brigel Gjokën dhe Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit — ndaj, sigurisht, kishim disa pyetje për të.

For the first time, the troupes of the Ballet of Albania and the Ballet of Kosovo share the same stage. Edhe 10 ditë nga premiera e “Neighbours / From Motherland”, që hap edicionin e 5-të të IDFT.

Një bashkëprodhim i ri mes Teatrit Kombëtar të Operës dhe Baletit dhe Baletit Kombëtar të Kosovës, i realizuar në kuadër të festivalit, kjo vepër sjell së bashku në skenë artistë nga të dyja vendet, nën drejtimin e koreografëve Brigel Gjoka dhe Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit.

Për herë të parë, dy institucionet bashkohen në një produksion të përbashkët të kësaj natyre dhe mezi presim ta ndajmë me ju së shpejti.

10 days to go until “Neighbours / From Motherland” opens the 5th edition of IDFT.

Created as a new coproduction between the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania and the National Ballet of Kosovo, and presented as part of this year’s festival, the work brings together dancers from both countries under the direction of choreographers Brigel Gjoka and Rauf “RubberLegz” Yasit.

It’s the first time the two institutions come together for a dance production of this kind, and we’re very excited to finally see it on stage.

“Soul Chain”, një nga veprat më të fuqishme dhe të njohura të Sharon Eyal, sjellë në skenë nga tanzmainz.

Në tingujt e muzikës së Ori Lichtik, 17 balerinë hyjnë në një botë përsëritjeje, ritmi dhe formacionesh që ndryshojnë pandërprerë, ku individi dhe grupi negociojnë vazhdimisht vendin e tyre.

A glimpse into “Soul Chain”, one of Sharon Eyal’s most recognisable works, performed by tanzmainz.

Set to an insistent score by Ori Lichtik, the piece brings 17 dancers into a world of repetition, rhythm and shifting formations, where the individual and the group are constantly negotiating their place.
