Last night was pretty surreal.

I was invited to the Palace of Westminster by the Institute of Jainology and the Jain All-Party Parliamentary Group, and was honoured to receive the Extraordinary Achievement Award from OneJain at the House of Commons.

The evening celebrated Lord Mahavir’s legacy, alongside the preservation and restitution of important Jain collections and manuscripts — with speakers from institutions including the British Museum and V&A.

To be recognised in a room full of such accomplished and inspiring people was incredibly special. Four other remarkable humans also received awards, and hearing their stories was a reminder that achievement comes in many forms.

A very memorable evening. Grateful, humbled, and still slightly processing it all.

Looking forward to coffees with The Baroness next time I’m in London!

A FABULOUS night celebrating the Fleets of 2025! So good to see my fellow ocean rowers! Especially the solos! 9 of us made it to the awards - including Benoit. It was amazing.

Partied so hard, I dislocated my knee. 😳
Managed to row an entire ocean injury free, but one night in Mayfair… 🪩

So, sore head, very sore knee, but full heart. I miss you already , , .still, , , ,

Happy International Women’s Day!! 💃🏽
The most magical day celebrating with 200 women in St Andrews today!!

We started with a silent disco on the beach,
followed by a sunrise dook (and what a sunrise!!),
then a hearty breaky at The Old Course Hotel,
the most heart-opening meditation moment with Ali,
shared her amazing mind with us!!!!
sang for us!!!!
3 incredible workshops with .health.fitness
Hand massages, , …

I made so many new friends!!! I cried SO MUCH!!!!! And laughed even more.

Massive thank you to for making this day happen. 6 INCREDIBLE women!! So much work went into today, and all for amazing charities. So grateful!!! 🩷

Never been more proud to be a woman.

I recorded this one while still in Antigua but then didn’t post it because I looked so tired. Silly.

Ready to share it now.

And so many other little insights, that reveal themselves to me gradually..

I’m slightly terrified about not fully capitalizing on all the lessons and wasting what was the most incredible, potentially transformative experience.. But I don’t know how to navigate this bit.

Seems to really help to talk. And I actually love to talk to people about the row to anyone who really wants to listen.

Anyway… if you have a chance to watch this, let me know your thoughts..

Missing the ocean. So much. So so so so grateful for the experience.

Being bison.
As promised, here’s one post-row “insight”(??) video. I’m finding it hard to keep it short, because honestly, I could just talk and talk and talk.. Instagram/FB is not the best medium for this sort of thing, but it is how so many of you who are interested in this journey can connect with me, so here goes…

I’m still working out how to capture the lessons to make them useful to life going forwards, and to anyone that might find it useful. But, as you can tell, I’m blindly fumbling my way through it.

And at the same time, working through my post-expedition phase. Facing it full on, bluntly as always. It’s just how I do things.

I’m not someone who’s only my gonna show you the shiny side.

Thank you for sticking with me. There’s more to come..

Last day in Antigua!! 🏝️
It’s so tough to say goodbye to the Ocean.

She was my constant companion for the last 71 days since arriving in La Gomera and swimming before dawn each day with my friend , and then living on her for 46 wild days at sea, and finally relaxing with her for 11 days in Antigua.

I’ll be sending messages back to her from the North Sea when I’m back home. Swimming in 6 degrees instead of 26 degrees will jolt me back to reality 😂.

It feels sad and surreal that this chapter is closing. I spoke to yesterday as he was flying home to Belgium and he felt very much the same.

As you know, I’m awful with goodbyes and closing doors, but that’s life. I’ve always got my eyes open and ears pricked for the next adventure though.

The rowing was a total surprise for me. Completely unplanned. The next adventures usually are.

Spamming you with a bit of daily life today…
are really looking after us!

So good to spend quality time with my old beautiful friend . Hadn’t seen her since with left our BVI life after hurricane Irma back in 2017!

Only two days left for us here in paradise, before we return to bonnie Scotland and I will be reunited with Malt Loaf 🐾.

I’ll arrange a Q&A on zoom when I’m back, in case anyone wants to ask anything about the row.

Day T+08
I’m starting to properly process the lessons. And in all honesty, it’s more than i can properly share in a few minutes here.

I wish I’d recorded my call with today because I could properly verbalize so many of the lessons and wins.

Tracey will send me some notes, and I’ll try to convey the messages here over the next little bit… in a useful and non-preachy way.

So, this is my first attempt.. I think I still need to figure it out how to put it into words..

If you have questions, please let me know.

Lesson: I love being me. 🩷💃🏽

Day T+06

Today I want to say a HUGE Thank you to everyone who supported this big, audacious goal of challenge!! I never eve felt alone in this thing. I have been shocked at the generosity of amazing humans - both with their hard earned money, and their time, love and energy.

I am slowly slowly working my way through all the comments. I am savouring them. They will help with processing it all.

I’m looking forward to sharing more from the b-roll and more insights as they settle.

And I am trying to also be present and enjoy this gorgeous island, while I’m here. Before I have to dive back in to work and “normal” life.

Thank you for sticking with me and believing in me. I am so incredibly grateful. What a community!!
