TIPS FOR A GREENER LIFESTYLE:
The path to good intentions is paved with green 💚🌎
Let 2024 be the year you adopt new ways of living a sustainable life. One action a month is amazing. For the month of January let’s start with the plastics, it’s also an easy win coz we have to and it gives a little jump start.
1. Bring your water bottle everywhere even into restaurants, it will save you money. If the restaurant objects, tell them to get filtered water.
2. Bring your coffee cup with you, most cafes award this good behavior.
3. Put all your vegetables in one bag after weighing. You will be amazed how many y plastic bags are eliminated. Paper bags in shops are also a resource with don’t need to use, so do bring your own vegetable bag.
4. This goes without saying, bring your own shopping bags. Much easier to pack one or two big bags than lots of plastic ones. Hopefully the plastic option will be gone.
Encourage sustainable lifestyle behavior among your family & friends. This is for every month of the year.

Single use plastic is to be ❌banned in the UAE .

Starting today (Jan 1st 2024) single-use plastic bags will be banned, with more items being added in the following years.

2025 - plastic stirrers, table covers, cups, Styrofoam food containers, plastic straws, and plastic cotton swabs

2026 - plastic plates, plastic food containers, plastic tableware, and beverage cups and their plastic lids.
