Launched in September 2010 as a platform catering towards urban & alternative culture in the Middle East. The creation of Sole has subsequently defined a unified outlet for all the latest and relevant news in footwear, fashion & design. A platform fabricated by three perceptive and intuitive individuals, through which cultural enthusiasts all over the U.A.E can communicate, share opinions and insp

irations, and set new trends for the region. Members use Sole as a platform to share ideas and learn about emerging trends. A network where the passion for fashion bring together a vibrant group of artists, bloggers, trendsetters, boutique owners and the Brands themselves. Expo: Sole DXB provides an alternative platform for brands to launch their latest products and stay a step ahead in the region through co-hosting a true grassroots event promoting fashion, art & design, music and progressive, urban culture in the Middle East.

The sudden loss of Belal Abiad, father, son, husband, brother friend and Coach, leaves a hole in our heart.

If you’ve spent any time on a basketball court in our city, you know the outsized role Belal played in building the sport.

It wasn’t just a game to him. It was a way of life. He taught integrity, discipline, resilience and teamwork to boys and girls across Dubai.

He was taken too soon, but his contributions to our city will live forever.

Rest easy, B. Thank you for all you did for so many.
