The road to the national stage is officially complete after all ten provincial champions secured qualification for the 2025/26 FAZ National League Playoffs.
Clubs from across Zambia have battled throughout the season with one dream in mind, earning promotion and a chance to compete at a higher level. After months of intense competition, the provincial champions are now confirmed, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting playoff tournament in 2026.
Representing Southern Province is Play It Forward, while Lusaka Province will be represented by Nampundwe FC after a successful campaign. Central Province champions Forest Myooye FC also booked their playoff place, alongside Eastern Province winners Mikalile FC.
In Northern Province, Mpande Youth Academy emerged as champions, while Copperbelt Province will be represented by Zambezi Portland FC. North-Western Province champions Mush*tala Stars and Western Province side Barotse Crocs FC also secured their places after impressive league performances.
Luapula Province champions Mathkat United FC continue their remarkable rise after another successful season, while Muchinga Province remains the only province yet to have its representative fully confirmed.
Real Nakonde DC are currently listed as champions and playoff representatives, but the matter remains in the hands of the FAZ Disciplinary Committee. Depending on the final verdict, either Real Nakonde DC or Blue Eagles will represent Muchinga Province at the playoffs.
With all provincial races concluded, attention now shifts to the National League Playoffs where the ten provincial champions will compete for promotion and national recognition. Football fans across the country can now look forward to a highly competitive tournament as clubs fight for a place on the national stage.
