Job Advert: Volunteer Under 16 Coach
Anointed Eagles FC, a dynamic football team located in Lusaka's Ngo'mbe area, is seeking the services of a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Under 16 Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and establish a feeder team into our Under 19 squad.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and coordinate training sessions for the Under 16 team, focusing on skill development, tactical understanding, and overall player growth.
-Foster a positive and supportive environment, nurturing the talents and potential of young players.
-Implement effective coaching strategies and techniques to enhance player performance and team dynamics.
-Work closely with the Under 19 coaching staff to ensure a smooth transition and progression for talented players.
-Provide mentorship and guidance to the players, instilling discipline, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic.
-Collaborate with the club management to identify and recruit talented young players for the Under 16 team.
-Attend team meetings, coaching clinics, and training sessions organized by the club to enhance coaching knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
-Age below 25, bringing youthful energy and enthusiasm to the role.
-Passion for coaching and developing young football players.
-Knowledge of the game, including technical, tactical, and physical aspects.
-Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and club management.
-Availability to commit to regular training sessions, matches, and club events.
-Ability to create a positive and inclusive team environment, fostering growth and teamwork.
-Willingness to work on a volunteer basis, understanding the importance of giving back to the community and supporting young talent.
-Openness to receiving coaching training and guidance from the club's coaching staff.
