7TH ANNUAL BOLOBEDU GET TOGETHER EVENT TO BE HELD FROM THE 23 - 26 DECEMBER 2016
Bolobedu Get Together (BGT) is annual event hosted in Bolobedu area (Greater Letaba). It was founded in 2010 by eight young people who interacted on facebook to establish an event that will get people of Bolobedu together. The event has been successfully staged for the past six years as a music and entertainment gathering during the 26th of every December month. This year’s BGT 7th episode will start from 23 December staging activities such sport tournament; local music artists’ awareness workshop; the music awards dinner; traditional dancers’ competition; trade exhibitions and music festival. The music festival will be hosted on the 26th December 2016 at Ga-Kgapane Stadium (Ground No.2) from 12h00am – 06h00am until the next day as the main and closing activity. The music festival will feature both national and local music artists. Amongst other artists to perform are King Monada, Candy, Dj Ganyani, Kelly khumalo, Janisto and Ck, Sido and Manana, Lekkersweet to mention the few. Tickets are now available on computickets R100 General, R300 VIP, R500 VVIP. The main objectives of the 7th BGT is to continuously foster social cohesion and grow the local economy of Bolobedu through various activities.
