How wonderful! On 3 October, we celebrate my sister Daisy’s birthday, and I am dedicating the DAISY PUPPET THEATER to her.
Daisy was born in 1953 with a heart condition. In the 11 years we were blessed to have her in our lives, she filled our days with stories, fairy tales, and creative crafts.
Because she could not take part in active running games, she spent much of her time sitting. But that never stopped her from being there for us little ones. She was ALWAYS ready to teach us how to make tiny gnomes out of clay and bring their little stories to life.
She was also exceptionally clever at school! One of her school reports is the only one I have ever seen where she achieved a 100% total for the entire term!
On 3 October, puppeteer Eben Bester will be visiting HIDDEN DRAGON MAGIC GARDEN, and we will spend the whole day enjoying puppet shows and workshops where young and old can learn how to make puppets and bring them to life.
