"It will be 40 years next year since I did the world championships in Mexico as a player. It will be fantastic to do it as a trainer 40 years later. This is my last job as a coach. I am 73, and I am not going on until I am 80, and it should be a nice moment to stop," said Hugo Broos, Bafana Bafana coach.

Broos hopes to finish his coaching career on a high by guiding South Africa to the FIFA World Cup next year. "For us, we have to win the game today. I see a motivated group and the boys know that it should be a highlight in their career to go to the World Cup next year, so I know they will fight for it from the first minute," he added.

A win against Lesotho and Nigeria would go a long way in securing qualification for the World Cup. "We all know that the next two games, with a bit of luck, can maybe be the final step to qualification to the World Cup, so we are motivated to play today's game," Broos said.

Bafana Bafana will face Lesotho in a Group C World Cup qualifier in Bloemfontein. "It's obviously a must-win match for us," Broos emphasized, as the team looks to make a mark in the World Cup qualifiers.

I am personally happy for Makgopa because he proved many people wrong. Ppl are quick to judge and when you check Percy Tau is not performing better than most of the players and the coach is always keeping him for the rest if the games for no reason.

Well done to Evidence Makgopa for scoring one of the important 2 goals against Morocco, number one team in Africa.
