💛 A Special Addition to Winelands Horse Festival 2026 💛

Due to the incredible support around this year’s festival, we’re delighted to share that we are able to extend our outreach efforts even further. 😍

In addition to supporting Huis andrew murray HAM, we are proud to welcome The Gem Project Sanctuary as an additional charity partner for 2026.

The Gem Project Sanctuary is a dedicated horse and dog rescue sanctuary caring for rescued and rehabilitated animals right here in the Western Cape.

This year, all proceeds from our Pony Rides will go directly towards supporting The Gem Project and the important work they do. 🏇

Every little rider will be making a real difference. 💛

Thank you for helping us grow the impact of the Winelands Horse Festival — together we can celebrate horses while giving back in meaningful ways.

We are honoured to welcome the South African Lipizzaners to the Winelands Horse Festival 2026. 💫

With a proud heritage rooted in classical horsemanship, their display will showcase the beauty and discipline of the Lipizzaner breed — from refined work in hand to the elegance of side saddle riding, culminating in their iconic School Quadrille. 🏇⚔️

Each element reflects years of dedication, tradition, and the extraordinary partnership between horse and rider. 🦄❤️

This is equestrian artistry at its finest.

🐎 Display Spotlight | Cape Hunt Club 🐎

Steeped in history and tradition, the Cape Hunt Club brings the heritage of hunting to life in a fun, energetic, and welcoming way. Their sport celebrates good horsemanship, teamwork, and the special bond between horse, rider, and hounds. 🐕

As a drag hunt club, no animals are harmed — an artificial scent is laid for the hounds to follow along a set route, with riders enjoying the thrill and rhythm of the chase behind them in a controlled, ethical, and light-hearted way. 🌿

At the heart of the Cape Hunt Club is a deep respect for tradition and a true love for their English Foxhounds, whose energy and athleticism make every display memorable. 🎩
