It's time for us to face the harsh truth - gender-based violence is causing more harm than we can imagine. Our children are growing up in environments where violence is becoming all too common. We need to ask ourselves, what kind of circumstances lead to such consequences that young individuals resort to taking lives in their own school surroundings?

We must come together to address this pressing issue and create safer spaces for the younger generation. Providing education, raising awareness, and fostering empathy are crucial steps in combating gender-based violence. Let's work together to create a world where our children can thrive without fear 😱

A few weeks ago, we were thrilled to launch the Pink Spot, a space dedicated to bringing our community together. Unfortunately, we were disheartened to find that it has been vandalized. This won't stop us from continuing our mission, though!

Yesterday, we as the Digital Disruptors and We Strive To Live came together for lunch to discuss ways we can keep the Pink Spot not just safe, but also more engaging for the community. In collaboration with the Alex team, we also touched base on an upcoming event in the area. All in all, it was a productive day, and we are so thankful to everyone who contributed to making the Pink Spot a reality.

We'd love to hear your ideas! What would you like to see us use the Pink Spot for? If you're from Orange Farm, please comment with suggestions on what you'd like to see happen or activities you'd like us to organize there. Let's work together to make sure our community continues to thrive!

The rise in Gender-based Violence (GBV) lately has been alarming and deeply concerning. As a community, we must come together to support survivors of GBV and work towards ending the violence. To do our part, we've compiled a list of helpful tips in the picture below on how you can help those affected by this issue.

Offering your support to survivors can make a world of difference, and it starts with small gestures like listening to their stories, validating their feelings, and connecting them with appropriate resources. These tips are just the beginning, but they're crucial in creating a safe and caring environment for survivors to heal and move forward.

Together, we can combat GBV by raising awareness, educating ourselves, and providing support to those affected. Let's make our communities safer and more inclusive for everyone. Share the picture below and spread the message – every little bit counts!

big shoutout to everyone who contributed to the Pink Spot initiative! 🎉 While it might not seem like much, it has a significant impact on our community. The Pink Spot, with its vibrant lights, serves as a beacon of safety for those passing by and offers so much more.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to all the contributors out there who made this possible. You're making a real difference in people's lives, and we can't thank you enough for your efforts.

As we continue to work together to bring about positive change, remember that every small effort counts. The Pink Spot is just one example of how the little things can make a big difference. Let's keep making our community a brighter and safer place! 💡🌟
