Watching young people grow, push through, and come out on the other side with something to show for it is always powerful. Prosecutor has carried himself with consistency, dependability, and the right attitude, and that has never gone unnoticed.

Today's session marked a significant milestone in our collective pursuit of SMME development in the Western Cape. Being among government officials, entrepreneurs, and civil society organisations, all united to shape the conversation, was truly invigorating. Our aim extends beyond mere participation – we seek to pave a smoother path for the trailblazers who follow, where talent and innovation take centre stage. Pride. Growth. Purpose. 🌱✨

Today we celebrate Hayley McCabe, a Transnet Adolescent Health & Development Programme Ambassador who has just been elected Head Girl at Kasselsvlei Comprehensive High School 👏🏽🎓

Hayley’s journey with the Transnet Adolescent Health & Development Programme has unfolded over time, and being able to witness her growth along the way has been incredibly special.
From showing up curious and eager to learn, to stepping confidently into leadership — this is what happens when young people are given space to grow and choose to rise to the moment.

Her story speaks directly to Ubuntu 🤝🏾 — we rise by lifting others. When we build in our own communities, invest in our youth, and walk the journey together, greatness becomes attainable. No matter where you’re from, what matters is the willingness to learn, grow, and keep showing up.

This achievement belongs to more than one person. It reflects the love and support of her family and friends, the guidance of her educators and school community, and everyone who has played a role in encouraging, mentoring, and believing in her over the years. 💛

At Mobcow, together with our extended family and partners, we are extremely proud of Hayley and look forward to supporting her as she steps into this next phase of her growth and leadership journey. The road ahead is bright 🚀

For us, these three days were about creating a space where young people could feel seen, challenged, and supported — a space where leadership is learned by doing, not talking. 💬➡️💪

Watching them grow in confidence, open up around health and life choices, and show up for one another reminded us why this work matters. This wasn’t about activities or photos. It was about responsibility, respect, and preparing young leaders for what lies ahead. 🧠❤️

Today we celebrate KG 🎓

A few years ago, KG walked into our store as a first-year student, looking for part-time work. What stood out immediately wasn’t just his need for a job — it was his warmth, respect, humility, and genuine character. That’s why he joined the Mobcows family without hesitation.

Since then, we’ve watched him grow, mature, and step into his potential. Today, he graduates — and we couldn’t be prouder.

What makes this moment even more special is that KG is now moving into his first official role with the Phelophepa Health Train, where he’ll be serving underserved communities while continuing to learn, grow, and sharpen his skills. That is impact in motion.

KG, never lose who you are.
Your character will take you further than any qualification ever could. Doors will continue to open because people trust, respect, and believe in you.

Remember this:
• Serving your community and creating positive impact is deeply fulfilling
• But your own happiness, growth, and progress matter too
• You are allowed to dream big and take care of yourself along the way
