MOGALE CITY ARTS AND CULTURE FORUM MOURNS THE PASSING OF ITS ARTIST.

Mogale City Arts and Culture Forum has received with profound sadness news of the passing of Stokie.

An eminent and distinguished son of Africa, Stokie was a humble soul, a friend, a good man, who played an immeasurable role in shaping the agenda of growing Amapantsula Dance in Mogale City. Stokie being one of the most important person who took part in support of the establishment of our forum, painstakingly utilised his tenure to advance the sustainability of his performance/dance towards a better tomorrow and sustainable development, while working determinedly to push back the frontiers of disputes and underdevelopment.

We have lost a leader whose contribution will forever be recognized as part of our history.

May we forever draw inspiration from his steadfast commitment to the principles of Amapantsula and policies to which he dedicated his life.

Mogale City Arts and Culture Forum extends out its most heartfelt condolences to his family, amapantsula industry, friends and whole of our artists.

May his soul rest in peace.
