AudioSoulja is bringing something truly special to Soweto,Vilakazi Street this August. “Double Take” isn’t just another party; it’s a 10-hour Sonic marathon designed for people who really want to get lost in the music. Hosted at Hectic 7 in Orlando West, this session is all about the “long-form” experience, giving two of the best in the business,Vinny Da Vinci and Trev The Japanese four hours each to craft a real musical narrative.
Vinny Da Vinci, a true pioneer and co-founder of House Afrika , Vinny’s Vinyl Thursdays and most recently started hosting the Deep Sonic movement radio show on radio 2000, will be bringing his Sundowner feel, type of groove energy and masterclass-level selection to the floor on the day, something he’s rarely tasked to do. Following that, Trev The Japanese from the Avant Garde Troupe, and Founder of TrevTober will take over, diving into his eclectic collection of rare,weird cuts and rich musical textures which require a very open mind.
It’s all going down on Sunday, August 23, 2026, running from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Because the goal is to keep the experience intimate, capacity is strictly limited.
