From this coming Saturday 12 September 2026, our Old Ennis Homestead Run/Walk will start at 07:00.

Join us for a refreshing 5 km walk or run through the beautiful outdoors. Bring the whole family everyone is welcome!

We have finalised the Old Ennis Homestead Walk/Run route, measuring an exact 5 km!

The route will be properly cleared and signposted before this weekend’s event.

THE RANUNCULUS ARE HERE!! (But not for long) 📣

There is a very short season with the warming weather this year. So we must emphasise that if you love ranunculus and want to enjoy them before we pull them up to make room for the dahlias, YOU HAVE TO COME QUICK!

⏰ Picking will be open from Wednesdays to Sundays, 08:00am till noon (12:00pm).

We’re not yet sure how long the application process will take for our event to become an official parkrun. In the meantime, we’d love to start our own tradition by celebrating the special people who make each event memorable.

🌟 A very special shout-out to our oldest participant, who proved that age is only a number! Thank you for joining our community walk/run and inspiring everyone along the way.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Herman and his wife, UMAMI Tap & Smokehouse who served as our wonderful Tail Walkers. They stayed at the back of the group, offering encouragement and helping to ensure that everyone completed the route safely.
