**DJ Fungi** is firmly in the second category.

Born in Los Angeles and now based in Cape Town, London Vidal Sassoon brings a sound rooted in rhythm, emotion and transformation. His name reflects a fascination with mycelium — unseen networks that shift, connect and evolve — and that same energy runs through his sets.

Expect hypnotic basslines.
Melodic tension.
Heart-trembling rhythms that pull you deeper into the dancefloor.

Blending techno, indie dance and afrohouse, DJ Fungi builds layered, immersive journeys that feel slightly otherworldly. The kind of set where time disappears and the room moves as one.

Mpumi “DJ Mamba” Radebe came up in the golden era of Long Street and helped shape its heartbeat as manager of the legendary Marvel Bar. From those roots, he has grown into a respected force in house music, known for deep, soulful and Afro-tech sets filled with warmth, rhythm and connection.

He has shared decks with some of the biggest names in the game, while still staying true to what matters most — the people, the culture and the family on the dancefloor. Through Mamba Productions, he is also helping guide the next generation.
