Let’s talk terrain…⛰️

When it comes to the Cederberg Wilderness and the trails on offer, there is so much variation that you can look forward to.

The iconic reddish sandstone formations of the Cederberg have been shaped over millions of years, an ancient landscape that delivers technical trails with rocky peaks, sandy single track, gnarly descents and so much more, by all accounts trail running heaven.

This is what you can expect over the three days of the race. Test yourself, and lean in to a true mountain wilderness adventure.

We’re at 60% capacity! With all the luxury chalets and luxury tents fully booked, there are only camping tents available for race weekend and a limited number of race entries available.

Don’t forget that you can enter as a team of two or as a solo runner. Round up your mates, get a team together but don’t wait!

RACE DAY DISTANCES

This 👉🏽 is what you have to look forward to in terms of distances each day on the Aonijie Cederberg Stage Run. Varied terrain is the order of the day, with technical trails making up a large amount of what is on offer in the epic Cederberg Wilderness.

⛰️ DAY 1 - 33km - Long & Steady
⛰️ DAY 2 - 24km - Chasing Elevation
⛰️ DAY 3 - 9km - Fast & Furious

Not only will you get to experience incredible scenery, views for days and challenging routes. The three days also provide runners with a great training weekend, so if you are gearing up for an ultra distance race, 100km or even miler, the race format of a three day stage run is perfect for race prep.
