35 regions. Nine provinces. One Eskom Expo International Science Fair.

From Cape Town to Ehlanzeni, Capricorn to Kimberley, East London to Dr Kenneth Kaunda, young scientists have spent the past few months putting their research to the test.

Now, selected projects will come together at the Eskom Expo International Science Fair, bringing some of the strongest research from across the country onto one exhibition floor.

Different communities. Different questions. Different solutions. One shared passion for discovery.

Final selections will be announced from 10 September. Follow our social media platforms as the Road to ISF begins.

Eskom Expo Gauteng South Regional Science Fair highlights!

The University of Johannesburg's Soweto Campus hosted 268 young scientists showcasing 207 incredible research projects, while celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Gauteng South Region.

A heartfelt thank you to our learners, parents, educators, judges, volunteers, sponsors, partners and the University of Johannesburg for making this milestone celebration a memorable success. Your passion, dedication and support continue to inspire the next generation of innovators.
