The results don’t lie.
After hosting highly publicised trials earlier this year, Young Achievers FC still finished on the wrong side of heavy scorelines week after week. From conceding 4 against UJ and Blue Birds, to a 3-0 defeat against Sundowns, the so-called “rebuild” clearly changed nothing.

Players were sold dreams, but on the field the performances remained weak, inconsistent and far from competitive. Trials are supposed to strengthen a squad — not expose how poor the structure really is.

11 goals conceded.
4 goals scored.
