Story Line:
In a world of little sunlight and even fewer organic life forms, nature has taken evolution down an alternate path. The Earth as we know it had been scarred and transformed into a dry and rocky landscape by years of human abuse. Diminishing the atmosphere to almost nothing and now fearing there was no other option for survival humanity's leaders came together to develop a plan to leave the planet in search of a more inhabitable environment. Starships were designed and many natural resources were exhausted throughout the building process, but humans had done it! Together they had created a fleet of ships capable of carrying humanity to distant planets and even alternate dimensions. During humanity's journey time seemed insignificant and generational gaps began to melt together, preconceived notions were dismissed and cultural taboos shed. People began to accept each another for who they truly were, and speculations began that a new era of acceptance was dawning upon us. As the journey progressed and time proved no longer recognizable the planet once known as Earth lived on, taking a new shape and finding its own method of survival. Unsuccessful at finding another planet that could support our population, and realizing this may be the last time humanity would truly look at itself as a community, the fleet decided to accept there destiny and await their dim future upon the only home they had ever known. Upon their descent back to the planet's landscape it became clear that more time had passed on the 3rd rock from the sun than realized. Slowly the passenger’s eyes began to make out entities on the barley distinguishable planet, and it was apparent that human’s absence had given opportunity to new life forms in this strange newly evolved world they previously occupied. The lines between synthetic compounds and organic elements had been blurred beyond recognition, and the terrain once dusty and arid had begun to flourish with plant like cyborgs, the result of universally symbiotic relationships. By assimilating, the few remaining plants and mechanical life forms bonded in an effort to harness the Earth's limited energy sources more efficiently and rebuild the once beautiful planet. Machines developed intricate ways to harness the Sun's energy and delivered nourishment to the plants they had symbiotically bonded with. In turn the plants began to produce gaseous waste, rebuilding the atmosphere and preventing the inevitable destruction of the Cyborg’s home planet. Moisture and gases were now being trapped and new forms of life were popping up everywhere. Could this rebuilt planet support the population that once left it? Upon landing humans immediately began to subconsciously accept that their ancestors were the cause of the planets previously uninhabitable condition. In this realization a universal understanding took over humanity and all swore to never again take for granted the home they hope to live harmoniously with once again. AUTUMATION is the celebration of this bond between organic and synthetic compounds for the greater good of our planet and its inhabitants. TIME SLOTS
