About the Festival

Howling Wolves Community Choir is holding the very first Woverhampton Community Choir festival – Howling in the Midlands at Highfields School, Boundary Way, Wolverhampton WV4 4NT on Saturday 29th September 2018.

The inspiration for Howling in the Midlands Festival comes from our experience of taking part in the Stratford Community Choir Festival. This festival is so popular it runs over two days and still can’t accommodate all the choirs wishing to take part! We have decided to run a festival closer to home and to give more Wolverhampton and West Midland choirs an opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of taking part in a festival, learning new songs and showcasing their achievements. We want to promote our home city Wolverhampton and to shine a spotlight on the local singing talent.
