Team Bobcats knows how to work it! 🐾

This SCC Connect team from Texas State University doesn't shy away from gaining valuable experience where they can. While preparing to compete, the team has attended workshops and contributed to the Git repository... but did you know they are currently helping with the GPU-based cluster used at the College of Engineering, gaining experience as HPC interns, and one team member is even a past volunteer for our very own conference! 💜

Like their namesake, we expect powerful work from this group at SCC Connect this year.

Please welcome:
- Arjit Magar
- Nikola Markovic
- Saurav Rijal
- Kaylee Scanlin

While this is their first time competing in SCC Connect at , they are taking their prep plans seriously. From late-night debugging sessions to studying past competition problems and engaging with open courses, they are making sure they cover all potential areas. But that's not all! They also have access to local HPC infrastructure for testing software stacks, practising deployment pipelines, and early performance tuning.
.. Oh, and some of the team really do run a laptop repair shop on campus. With skills this diverse, we can't wait to see how far they go! 🛠️

Please welcome:
- Guobin Zhang
- Yuxiang Chen
- Yutong Yuan
- Sizhe Qiao
- Yuhan Guo
- Xunuo Xie

This year's Team Oregon is a cross-institutional effort of FIVE colleges across this Pacific Wonderland: University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Willamette University, Portland State University, and Portland Community College. And they've been busy preparing, thanks to mentors from Oregon Health & Science University, training directly on ORCA (the Oregon Regional Computing Accelerator), and even building their own physical HPC cluster with help from the Oregon Supercomputing Club. Talk about busy beavers! 🦫

Welcome to this year's competition:

This sleuth of Beriables credits their passion for the field, along with the university's annual BEAR challenge, for fueling their competitive and creative spirits.

Can we get a round of a-paws for:
- Arthur Baverstock
- Harry Vicaradge
- Jamie Cline
- Efe Halilov
- Ewan Hallatt
- Sriya Musunuru

The Beriables are advised by Dr. Leo Turnell-Ritson.
