Cascadia Winter Solstice Weekend returns to Nectar Lounge and Hidden Hall this December. Three nights of psychedelic house, techno, bass music, and electro-swing to carry you through the longest nights of the year.

❄️ Beats Antique are joining us for two nights, plus Desert Dwellers, High Step Society, ATYYA, Chmura, Marques Wyatt, Duffrey, Bluetech, David Starfire Music, Sabo, Michael Manahan and more favorites from our Cascadia festival family round out the weekend!

Dearest Cascadia NW community and friends! Michael Manahan here, I wanted to send out a personal message to officially announce that we will be taking a break this 2026 summer. This decision comes with great sadness as I feel we would all benefit from being together, dancing in the forest, yet, here we are. As you may know, we lost our beloved primary venue when negotiations fell apart as a baseline of truth and willingness to work together for the betterment of all could not be reached with the Darrington Bluegrass board. The last minute nature of their ability to produce a contract, and subsequent "vote" placed us in a very compromised position, and although we looked diligently for another option, everything felt rushed and simply unattainable. We are, however looking at a few amazing spaces for 2027 and are confident that we'll come back stronger and with a much more amicable venue to work with, so stay tuned for updates and announcements! It's difficult to not feel like we've let you our friends and community down, but I hope there is trust that we're doing our best with your security and satisfaction in mind. And yes , we are still pursuing our relationship with Summer Meltdown Festival ! In lieu of this years break, we encourage you to support our friends on Whidbey Island, and on Orcas Island. If we don't see you there, we look forward to seeing you at the Cascadia Winter Solstice Weekend in Fremont, Seattle, where we're already putting together an amazing weekend lineup. Dearest friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we share an important update.

Our recent negotiations with the Darrington Bluegrass Festival grounds board have come to an end, and we are no longer able to move forward with our Summer Solstice gathering at the Darrington site.

The primary issue centered around the addition of Summer Meltdown producing a dedicated live music stage. We were incredibly excited about the possibility of collaborating and felt it would have been a powerful and positive addition to the weekend, but the Bluegrass Board felt differently about this decision.

Despite our good faith efforts to address concerns and find common ground, the board ultimately voted not to renew our June contract.

This comes as a devastating blow. We know how much anticipation was building within our community, and we were feeling that excitement along with you.

We are currently looking at other venue opportunities, and will keep you informed as our plans take shape. We remain committed to this gathering, to the spirit behind it, and to all of you who make it what it is.

Thank you for your support and understanding, we love you all and anticipate Cascadia NW coming back stronger than ever in the near future!

✨ Something special is beginning to take shape for 2026. Cascadia NW Arts & Music Festival has always been guided by intention, stewardship, and community. This next chapter grows from those roots, carrying the spirit of the gathering forward while opening space for what’s possible.

In 2026, Summer Meltdown Festival will produce a dedicated live music stage at Cascadia NW Arts & Music Festival. This stage honors Meltdown’s longstanding legacy while creating space for live performances that feel intimate, electric, and deeply connected to the Northwest.

We can’t wait to reunite, dance, and celebrate with you under the mountain!
