Run the Beat 5K Run the Beat 5K will be held again on 10/15/22 at 10am. Dress for success and wear your best costume! The course is paved and flat. Distance is USATF certified.

About This Event:
Sponsored by the Morris Police Department, the Run The Beat 5K proceeds go to benefit Special Connections of Grundy County. The last half mile is a slight down hill for a great stretch to the finish! Food and music provided. Tshirts guaranteed to every preregistered participant. Directions:
Morris is located at mile marker 112 (Route 47) on I80. Go south from I80 on Route 47 and take Route 6 west. Turn left (south) at second stop light onto Union Street. Travel south on Union Street to Goold Park. Directional signs will be posted at Route 47 and Route 6, and Route 6 and Union Street. Awards:
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers. Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each age/sex catagory from 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, etc. to 80 and over. Parking:
Some parking is available in Goold Park, otherwise, use the Morris High School parking lot across the street. Race Results:
