I am Honey Khor (aka Pei Yeou Bradley), chair person and organiser of A Blast from the Past. We are seeking your sponsorship for “ A Blast from the Past”, which is a fun musical extravaganza created, and starred in, by a group of young adults who, kindly and generously, are sharing their talents and time to bring an awareness of giving to us all, believing that suppor
ting charities which aid children, are worthwhile.
!I was trained as a fine artist at the Malaysian Institute of Art, and have been involved with various charity events and exhibitions since 2007 and, specifically for the Colors of Cambodia charity, since 2008. A Blast from the Past will be my sixth involvement with Colors of Cambodia and raising money for the underprivileged children of Siem Reap, Cambodia, with whom I volunteer teach in the schools of Siem Reap. Colors of Cambodia is now assisted by Calista Lim ( singer ) in raising funds. A Blast from the Past will help promote the value of giving back, assisting the valuable work Colors of Cambodia is doing with schools and orphanages in Cambodia, bringing art and art materials (free) to children who would otherwise not have access to them. Colors of Cambodia is an organisation created in 2003, by the American artist William Gentry. It was established to introduce art and art materials to underprivileged schoolchildren in the Siem Reap area of Cambodia, and help them gain self esteem, and self worth. The wider aim is to teach basic life skills, so that children aided by Colors of Cambodia may have a good start in life and aspire to more than just working in the rice field. Through Colors of Cambodia, children have the chance to discover the wonderful world of creativity and colour. I invite you and/or your com- pany to take full advantage of this offer and to participate in this unique opportunity to help unfortunate children in the Siem Reap area of Cambo- dia, through art sponsorship. You may help in the following ways:
