Will you Beat the Sun? Now in its ninth year, Barclays MoonTrekker is set to challenge the hearts, minds and legs of Hong Kong’s most intrepid adventurers.

MoonTrekker has raised nearly $12,000,000 for education and environmental conservation. The 43km and the 30km endurance hikes begin at 8:30pm/11:00pm in Mui Wo, on Lantau Island, and take participants though the island’s stunning scenic country trails. The last section of the route passes through the sleepy Po Lam Zen Monastery in Tai Tong Tsai and leads hikers up to Hong Kong’s second highest peak—delivering racers to Hong Kong’s best dawn panoramas. Will you make it before sunrise??

A big thank you and congratulations to our top fundraisers who have just been sent their prize vouchers including spa membership, nights and f&b vouchers to one of the worlds best hotels - The Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong.

MoonTrekker this year raised nearly HK$1.5million for the Nature Conservancy and a further HK$150,000 towards the Karen Leung Foundation.
